I was looking through the articles on my Counter-Apologetics FAQ recently and I found out that the linked content there alone constitutes about 90,000 words. And this does not even count a number of other articles that I have written on this blog that are not included on the FAQ.
So I realized: why not work Κέλσος into a book project? I have probably already written about 400 pages.
I haven’t thought of a title yet, but feel free to propose some in the comments below!
Working the blog into a book will, of course, involve revising, adding to, and expanding upon much of the material. But that is all new work and content that can be looked forward to upon the completion of the project.
The blog just recently became one year old. A good way to spend the second year would be to work the blog into a book project. So, that’s the plan. I’m not sure yet if I will self-publish the book or will find an outside publisher. Either way, however, I have decided to move forward with this as the next step.
Since I will be working the blog into a book, you can expect that I may be posting here less often. I will still be writing a substantial amount of new material, but I won’t be posting it here, so that the book can have more original content.
So, for now, sit back and let me write the book. Hopefully people who have been reading the blog for the last year will enjoy the final product. It has been a great experience researching, analyzing, and writing about counter-apologetic issues.
In other good news: I have also now received enough online donations to cover all of the medical expenses for my esophageal ulcer treatment! As such, I have taken down the temporary donations page.
Thanks to everyone who donated! When the book is complete, I will be sending a free electronic copy to all of the donors.
It has been a great experience working on this blog. Thanks, as always, for reading!
